Gender parity and women’s issues are in the spotlight. Many of these messages and advice focus on encouraging women to Speaking Up for their rights, improve their negotiating skills, owning their futures while managing a career and a family. My examples are real and relatable. Women are hungry to consume stories that are approachable and inspire them to take their own risks.
Now is the time to bring women together and help them feel empowered. When women hear or read stories of other authentic women they immediately find common ground and feel that “if she can do that, I can do that”. My story is just that story. It will leave the reader, motivated, inspired and feel that she can take a new look at her life, take action and move past things she thought were holding her back.
